Wine for the health-conscious, this one. A simple large wine glass with a few succulent red and green grapes surrounded by juicy black ones. I toyed with many ideas for the name for this one: "Diet Merlot" or "Red and Green Lost Souls" - even "Wine For The Health Conscious" but ended up settling for a simpler title, one to reflect the painting. Couldn't you just pick a grape out of that glass and eat it?
An original oil painting. Measures 24" x 12" (What are the measurements in metric?) with a 1.5" edge; using artists quality Winsor & Newton oils on Loxley Gold box canvas. Edges are painted to be incorporated as part of the main picture.
